^Lot 59 Assembled Decorative Group with Schiller Bust, Mechanical Table Clock, and Chinese Soapstone Carving

An assorted three-piece decorative group comprising a white portrait bust of Friedrich Schiller, a mechanical metal-cased table or travel clock, and a Chinese carved soapstone vessel group. The bust is modeled in neoclassical taste with the sitter identified as Schiller on a molded scroll at the base. The clock is housed in a rectangular handled case with Roman numeral dial, subsidiary dials, and visible mechanical movement. The soapstone carving is worked in open relief with birds, foliage, and two integrated cup-form vessels in mottled pink and beige stone. A visually varied shelf lot with European and Asian decorative elements. Surface wear, oxidation, and finish loss to the clock; the clock is not tested. The soapstone carving shows rim chips and losses to projecting elements; the bust is intact
