Baluch or Baluch-style hand-knotted wool rug, Eastern Iran or Western Afghanistan, mid–late 20th century, the camel/peach field centered by an elongated octagonal panel in navy enclosing a lattice of hooked diamonds in red, navy and ivory, within a stepped “running dog” frame and multiple narrow borders of rosette and geometric motifs in red, navy and ivory, finished with fringed ends. A traditional tribal design in a convenient small mat size. Approx. 37 in. x 24 in.
