A decorative four-piece Indian metalwork group comprising a pair of trumpet-form brass or copper-alloy vases, a circular hand-engraved tray or charger, and an associated plain polished brass tray. The matching vases are worked in low relief with birds perched among foliate scrolls over textured grounds, with flared rims and interlaced bands above the feet, showing repoussé and chased decoration rather than simple hammering alone. The circular tray is densely engraved with a central flowerhead, scrolling vegetal ornament, and leaf-shaped reserves in a Kashmiri taste. The plain tray is of simpler rolled-rim form and appears associated. Surface wear, oxidation, patina, scratches, and spotting throughout; no major splits or losses observed.
