Attributed to A. Leggett (British school, 19th century), oil on panel depicting an intimate cottage interior with three figures gathered around a candlelit table, rendered in warm browns and reds in the Victorian narrative tradition. Signed A. Leggett and presented in an ornate gilt-composition frame. Surface with age-appropriate craquelure and minor abrasions; frame with rubbing, small chips and losses to ornament.
