Mancini (20th century), large oil on canvas depicting an Alpine lake landscape, with snow-capped mountains rising in the distance above a serene green lake and a series of red-roofed chalets and trees scattered along a rocky, autumnal shoreline. Executed in a vivid palette of whites, blues, russets and greens with heavy impasto to the foreground. Signed Mancini at lower right. Presented in an ornate gilt-composition frame with molded foliate border and name plate. Overall approx. 45 in. wide x 29 in. high.
