Lot 702 An Early Club 33 Menu.
(Disneyland, 1967) An early dinner menu from Club 33, the members-only establishment in New Orleans Square. Club 33 was one of the last Disneyland projects Walt oversaw and contributed to, opening just five months after his passing in December of 1966. Walt envisioned an interactive animatronic experience in the Club's Trophy Room, in which characters conversed with Guests using hidden microphones and an operator behind the scenes. Although this never came to be due to concerns over Guest privacy, the cover of this menu refers to this show, making this likely the very first menu for the venue, only used for a very short time or replaced before opening. Measuring 16 " x 16 " unfolded, the menu is in good condition with a faint stain on the back cover, waviness, minor creases, and edge wear.
