Lot 444 A "Catfish Bend " Original Development Drawing by Walt Peregoy.
(Disney, 1970s) An original development drawing for the shelved Disney Studios production, "Catfish Bend. " Featuring a large raft with humans and animals floating through a bayou, the drawing was created by Walt Pereogy during the early development of the film to visualize the story's settings. Peregoy's graphical and chaotic style was utilized by the Studio and Parks during this period due to his ability to capture broad concepts in imagery that was artistic yet understandable. Measuring 23.5 " x 31.25 " framed with the image itself measuring 11 " x 21.25 ", the drawing is in fine condition, unexamined out of the frame.
