Lot 403 A Pair of "Sleeping Beauty " Illustration Sketches.
(Disney, 1986/95) Two original sketches for illustrations in Disney Press "Sleeping Beauty " storybooks, both attributed to artist Ric Gonzalez. One shows Princess Aurora’s subjects in procession to the castle, and the other shows Briar Rose by the forest river. Measuring 9 " x 14 " on paper and 5.5 " x 17 " on 14 " x 17 " vellum, the graphite and color pencil drawings are in very good condition, with browning to the paper of the 1986 drawing from age.
