(Warner Bros., 1990s) A pair of style guides for the 1992 film "Batman Returns, " sent to licensees and Warner product departments to develop merchandise and promotional materials for the film. Style Guide 1 includes a cover letter on DC letterhead, and 55 loose pages of character art, logos, props, and backgrounds for the film. Style Guide 2 with 105 loose pages provides more artwork including Penguin Commandos, Circus Gang Motorcycles, and Gotham City skylines and backgrounds. Together these provide fascinating insight into the marketing of the film. Each in a folder measuring 9.75 " x 11.75 ", the style guides are in very good condition with typical wear from production use, mostly from creases and scuffs to the outer folders.
