1787 Maris 46-e R-1 No Sprig Above Plow New Jersey VG10Glossy olive brown with light brown toning on the devices. The two-tone appearance accents the devices and this piece has nice eye appeal for the grade. The only mark is an old scratch on the right side of the shield. Later die state with significant swelling that obliterates the 17 in the date and the opposing I in PLURIBUS. Listed on page 70 in the 2023 "Redbook."
