1787 Maris 33-U R-4 No Sprig Above Plow New Jersey VG7Slightly sharper with areas of fine porosity on both sides. Most of the planchet is smooth and there is no verdigris or significant contact marks. Mostly glossy medium brown blending to chocolate in protected areas. The date is strong and the legends are clear. Later die state with swelling in the center of the obverse. Listed on page 70 in the 2023 "Redbook."
