1787 Maris 31-L R-3 No Sprig Above Plow New Jersey NGC VF20Rather glossy olive brown and steel. Mostly smooth but there is a streak of tiny planchet flakes on the obverse, as struck. Well struck with a strong date and legends. LDS with die cracks on the obverse, one of which meanders across the obverse effectively bisecting that die. A neat die state.
