1778 Vlack 11-78A R-3 Machin's Mills Halfpenny F15+Sharper, especially on the reverse, but there are fine hairline scratches on both sides, mostly on the obverse. Reasonably smooth but a glass reveals very fine granularity mixed with verdigris in the fields and protected areas. The date is strong and the legends are easily readable. Listed on page 67 in the 2023 "Redbook." Weight 100.1 grains.
