1774 Vlack 8-74A Machin's Mills Halfpenny VG10A few points sharper but dull from uniform extremely fine granularity. No verdigris. A light scratch in the field before the chin is the only mark. Slightly glossy dark steel with lighter steel brown highpoints. The date and legends are complete and easily readable but not strong. Listed on page 67 in the "Redbook."
