^Lot 380 Crummles Handpainted English Enamel Treasure Box, Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee

This handpainted enamel treasure box was manufactured by Crummles & Co. in England to commemorate the Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth. The circular box is crafted from enamel on copper with gold-tone metal mounts and a hinged closure. The lid displays a handpainted portrait of a young Queen Elizabeth II in profile wearing a tiara, set against a mottled brown background. The portrait is framed by a gilded foliate and scrollwork border on a cobalt blue ground. The base of the box is finished in a matching cobalt blue.
