^Lot 378 Crummles Handpainted English Enamel Treasure Box with Floral Bouquet Decoration

This circular copper enameled miniature hinged box was manufactured by Crummles and Company in England. The lid is decorated with a hand-painted floral design on a white ground, featuring a central spray of blue flowers within a circular wreath, surrounded by a light blue ribbon swag intertwined with pink roses and blue forget-me-not style blossoms. The interior of the lid displays a black transfer-printed illustration of a flower basket. The exterior of the base is finished in a solid sky blue enamel. The box is constructed with gold-tone metal mounts and a hinged closure. The base is marked with a circular black stamp reading Hand Painted in Fine Enamel and Made in England by Crummles and Co, with a central logo consisting of a triangle containing the letter L over a stylized cross.
