^Lot 372 Two Halcyon Days Scorpio Zodiac Egg and Spode Millennium Celebration Trinket Boxes

This lot features two English-made collectible hinged boxes. The first is a Spode fine bone china circular trinket box produced for the Millennium 2000 celebration with a zodiac planet theme. The exterior is decorated with blue transfer-printed celestial imagery including a personified moon, stars, and the planets Earth and Saturn. The lid border is inscribed IN CELEBRATION OF THE MILLENNIUM. The underside bears the Spode factory mark, Made in ENGLAND, and pattern number S3668-Z. The second item is a Halcyon Days enamel on copper egg-shaped box with a Scorpio zodiac theme. The navy blue exterior is decorated with gold-tone transfer text and symbols, including the sign name, the dates October 24 - November 22, and personality traits such as COMPANIONABLE, DYNAMIC, PASSIONATE, PROTECTIVE, INTENSE, VULNERABLE, and INTUITIVE. The interior lid is marked with the Halcyon Days Enamels, Bilston & Battersea Enamels, England backstamp. Both items are finished with gilded metal mounts and hinged closures.
