This oval-form box is constructed of enamel on copper with polished gilded metal mounts and a hinged lid. The exterior is decorated with a wrap-around panoramic scene of Orange County, California, featuring a coastal resort, swimming pool, palm trees, a lifeguard tower, and a pier at sunset. The vignettes are bordered by vertical garlands of oranges. The interior of the lid is printed with the inscription Orange County, California 2017. The base bears the Halcyon Days manufacturer mark beneath three Royal Warrants and is inscribed: Made exclusively for St. James's Place in an edition limited to 675, this is No.625.
