^Lot 368 Pair of Limoges Hand-Painted Porcelain Trinket Boxes with Pink Floral Graphics

This set of 2 Limoges porcelain trinket boxes features hand-painted pink floral graphics with gold accents and gilt metal mounts. Each box is constructed with a decorative flower snap enclosure. The larger box is of a scalloped quatrefoil form, decorated with a central bouquet of pink roses and blue flowers on the lid, a floral garland around the base, and a single rosebud painted on the interior lid. It bears a green Limoges France factory mark, the red hand-painted script Peint a la main, and the artist monogram RM. The smaller box is of a scalloped kidney form, featuring a central floral spray within a pale blue border accented by gilt scrolls. The base is decorated with scattered floral sprays, and the interior lid contains a single floral sprig. This box is marked with a green Limoges France stamp, the script Dec. a mano, and the initials P.C. Measurement is for largest piece.
