A large, decorative charger plate depicting a woman in white robe reclining on a stone bench. She has brown hair and rests her head on her hand with the other arm outstretched, looking at a black cat also sitting on the bench. On the ground a young woman wearing a brown robe sits and looks up at the woman on the bench. The floor has a chequerboard design in blue and white. Trees and a green bush are painted in the background. Signed E. Welby. Minton impressed backstamp.
