^Lot 335 Wedgwood Fairyland Lustre Porcelain Roc Centre Plate

A Wedgwood fine bone china decorative display plate in the Fairyland Lustre series, featuring the Roc Centre pattern. The central circular medallion is decorated with a polychrome fantasy scene depicting a pink dragon ridden by a small figure, a winged sprite perched on a branch, a stylized castle, and a man-in-the-moon motif. The composition is populated with various animals including a squirrel and birds set against a whimsical landscape. The scene is enclosed by a wide, acid-etched gilt border featuring intricate classical scrollwork, mythological griffins, and floral urns. The outer rim is finished with a gilded edge. The reverse of the plate bears the printed Wedgwood factory mark featuring the Portland Vase silhouette and the text WEDGWOOD, Bone China, MADE IN ENGLAND. A silver-tone circular sticker for the Rubin Collection is also present on the underside.
