^Lot 332 Wedgwood Lustre Small Octagonal Bowl, Coiling Dragon Z4829

Designed by Daisy Makeig-Jones, this small eight-sided bowl has an exterior finished in mixed blue lustre with pale staining and blue mottling, and is decorated in gilt with small dragons. The interior is in a mother-of-pearl finish, featuring a coiling dragon at the center in red, yellow, blue, and green hues. It is further decorated with Asian motifs in gold, and the interior border is the Aquatic Bead pattern. The underside is marked with the Wedgwood Portland vase backstamp and Z4829.
