^Lot 330 Wedgwood Dragon Lustre Porcelain Lidded Vase Z4829

This Wedgwood Dragon Lustre porcelain lidded vase, pattern number Z4829, was designed by Daisy Makeig-Jones. The vessel features a high-shouldered ovoid body tapering to a flared circular foot, topped with a domed lid and circular finial. The exterior is finished in a mottled, iridescent blue and green lustre glaze. The piece is decorated with gilded transfer work, featuring a large celestial dragon encircling the body and stylized flame or cloud motifs scattered across the surface. The rims of the lid, neck, and base are accented with a repeating checkered gilded border. The base of the vase displays a hand-painted gold pattern number Z4829, a gilded Portland Vase factory mark, the word WEDGWOOD, the letter B, and the word ENGLAND.
