Lot 314 Wedgwood Fairyland Magic Plate, Imps on a Bridge and Tree House
This circular decorative cabinet plate is manufactured from Wedgwood fine bone china for the Fairyland Magic collection. The pattern, titled Imps on a Bridge and Tree House, is a modern reproduction of the Fairyland Lustre style originally designed by Daisy Makeig-Jones. The face of the plate features a multicolor transfer print illustrating a fantasy scene with imps, winged creatures, and a treehouse set within a vibrant landscape of orange, red, and purple hues with gilt-style outlining. The reverse is marked with the Wedgwood urn logo, the Bradford Exchange logo, and the Bradex number 26-W90-78.1. It is designated as plate number 339 A from an edition limited to a maximum of 50 firing days. The reverse also displays a circular stamp for the Rubin collection.
