^Lot 296 Moorcroft Macintyre Rare Art Nouveau Blue Dahlia Goblet

The vessel features a wide, flared bowl with a raised horizontal band around the midsection, supported by a tapering pedestal stem with a central ring-turned knop and a domed, spreading circular foot. The exterior is decorated in the Art Nouveau style using a tube-lining technique to create raised outlines of stylized floral and foliate scrollwork. These sections are filled with a rich cobalt blue underglaze against a creamy white ground. The interior rim features a matching scroll border. The underside bears the James Macintyre backstamp.
