^Lot 283 6pc Wedgwood Jasperware Australian Animal Series Pin Dishes

This collection of Wedgwood jasperware consists of several circular pin dishes featuring motifs from the Australian animal and bird series. Each dish is constructed from unglazed vitreous stoneware with applied sprigged bas-relief decoration in various color combinations. The motifs include a white swan on sage green, a terracotta lyrebird on sage green, a white cockatoo on pink, a terracotta crocodile on cream, a black swan on yellow, and a sage green griffin on yellow. Each central figure is enclosed within a decorative laurel wreath or stylized floral border. The underside of each piece features the impressed factory mark Wedgwood and Made in England, accompanied by a registered trademark symbol. Several items in this lot include adhesive labels from the Rubin Collection.
