^Lot 280 2pc Wedgwood Porcelain Color Sample Plates

This pair of Wedgwood fine porcelain display plates features radial segments showcasing various colored enamel glazes separated by gilded laurel leaf bands. The first plate is divided into eight sections including Crimson, Champagne, and Rose-du-Barri, centered by a yellow medallion with a script "L." The second plate features eight different segments including Sherwood Green and Cherry Lacquer, with corresponding gilded letters at the inner edge of each color. Both plates bear the Wedgwood Portland Vase mark on the reverse alongside hand-painted inscriptions identifying each specific color sample. Each piece is finished with a solid gilded rim and retains a sticker for the Rubin Collection.
