^Lot 271 Wedgwood Bone China Imperial Horse Cabinet Plate Signed by M. Pinter

This Wedgwood bone china plate features the Imperial Horse pattern, a design associated with the Julie Wear equestrian collection. The central medallion contains a hand-painted depiction of a rearing dapple-grey horse with a flowing golden mane and tail, set against a landscape background. The artwork is signed M. Pinter in the lower left of the scene. The plate is designed with a lobed and scalloped rim and a pink and white marbled ground. A wide inner band of etched gold decoration features a repeating scroll and foliate pattern, complemented by a heavy gilded outer rim. The underside of the plate bears a gold circular mark containing the Wedgwood logo and the text Bone China Made in England. A secondary small label for the Rubin Collection is also present on the reverse.
