^Lot 264 Wedgwood 4 O'Clock China Porcelain Teapot Candle Votive

This Wedgwood porcelain teapot is part of the 4 O'Clock China collection. The piece is crafted from white porcelain featuring a matte, unglazed exterior and a glazed interior. It is designed in a Neoclassical style with a pedestal foot, a curved spout, and a simple loop handle. The exterior is decorated with relief-molded details, including a continuous band of scrolling foliate vines around the shoulder and vertical fluting on the lower portion of the body. The matching lid is topped with a ball finial. The interior of the vessel is filled with a unused candle. The underside of the base bears a black printed mark WEDGWOOD. Below this are the words 4 O'CLOCK CHINA, followed by PORCELAIN and a copyright symbol with WEDGWOOD. A circular gray sticker is also present on the base, which reads RUBIN COLLECTION.
