^Lot 247 Collection of Four Wedgwood Jasperware Lidded Boxes from the Rubin Collection

Wedgwood Jasperware lidded trinket boxes are in lilac and primrose colorways, including pieces from the Rubin Collection. The group consists of a circular lilac box in the Cream Color on Lilac pattern featuring a white relief cameo of a classical figure and grapevine border; a rectangular lilac box in the Cream Color on Lilac pattern with a white relief chariot scene and classical figures; a rectangular primrose yellow box with terracotta-colored relief depicting a classical figure with an eagle and foliate motifs; and an egg-shaped primrose yellow box in the Cream Color on Primrose pattern with white relief floral and leaf sprigs. Each item is made of unglazed stoneware with sprigged relief decoration. The bases are incised with the factory marks Wedgwood and Made in England or England. All four pieces feature a circular blue collection sticker that reads Rubin Collection.
