To commemorate the 100th anniversary of Doulton's death. The piece is constructed of glazed earthenware with molded and hand-painted underglaze decoration. The jug is formed as the head and shoulders of Sir Henry Doulton featuring black hair, a white shirt with an orange-red bow tie, and a dark maroon jacket. It features two distinct handles. One handle is modeled as a potter in a green coat holding a miniature blue and white vase with a brown rabbit at his feet. The opposite handle is formed as a tall, slender vase with a mottled green and blue glaze atop a textured brown pedestal. The base bears the Royal Doulton backstamp.
