Royal Doulton Guinness Harpist advertising figurine, model number MCL 29. This hand-decorated ceramic piece was produced in the United Kingdom in 2010 for Millennium Collectables Ltd. under license from Guinness. The figurine depicts a blonde woman wearing a red evening gown, seated beside a large bottle of Guinness Extra Stout. The figure is posed to mimic playing the harp featured on the bottle label. The bottle is finished in a high-gloss black glaze with a yellow crown cap. The circular white base is inscribed with the title Encore! in green script on the front edge. The underside bears the Royal Doulton lion and crown backstamp along with the model designation MCL 29 and the name of the modeler, Shane Ridge. This piece is a limited edition, hand-numbered 157 of 750. The base also retains two paper auction labels from previous cataloging.
