Also known as "The Toiler," this figure is made of white slip-cast stoneware with blue detailing. The piece depicts a male figure hunched forward under the weight of a large sack carried over his right shoulder. He is modeled wearing a long-sleeved shirt with a blue-and-white checkered pattern and light-colored trousers. The figurine stands on an integral low cylindrical base. The underside bears the Doulton Lambeth impressed stamp.
