^Lot 170 Michael Sutty Sculpture Napoleon Bonaparte 1815

This Michael Sutty porcelain large statue of Napoleon Bonaparte is a finely detailed, hand-painted limited edition military figure modeled in England. Depicting the Emperor in 1815, the figure is shown in his signature gray greatcoat over a white uniform with a red sash and tall black riding boots. He wears his iconic black bicorne hat with a tricolor cockade and is posed with his hands clasped behind his back on a tiered, dark blue circular base. The underside is titled Napoleon Bonaparte 1815 and features the circular printed factory mark for Michael Sutty The Porcelain Manufactory with a central dagger motif. The piece is hand-numbered 117 from a total edition of 250 and includes the hand-painted signature of M. Sutty and decorator initials P.C.
