This rare white on black base Michael Sutty fine china bust of Napoleon Bonaparte is a limited edition porcelain figure. The subject is depicted in a traditional military uniform with a high collar and his iconic bicorne hat, mounted on an integral, stepped, black-glazed circular pedestal base. The underside is fully marked with the Michael Sutty circular factory stamp featuring a sword emblem, the origin mark Made in England, and hand-inscribed details including the subject name NAPOLEON, MODEL No 17, and Limited Edition Of 250. The piece also bears the hand-inscribed signature of the artist, Michael Sutty.
