^Lot 167 Michael Sutty Admiral Nelson Porcelain Bust

This hand-painted porcelain bust by Michael Sutty for The Porcelain Manufactory, England, depicts Admiral Lord Nelson in his naval uniform. The figure is finely detailed with a black bicorne hat featuring gold trim and a silver-toned cockade, gold-fringed epaulettes, a prominent red sash, and various service medals. Historically accurate, the model depicts the Admiral with his missing right arm, the sleeve tucked into his waistcoat. The piece is mounted on a circular black glazed socle base. The underside bears the printed factory mark for Michael Sutty with the central dagger emblem, hand-titled ADMIRAL NELSON, and inscribed Made in England and Modelled and Hand Painted. It is hand-signed in gold script M. Sutty and numbered MODEL No 12 from a limited edition of 250.
