Vienna hand-painted figure designed by Austrian artist Stefan Dakon (1904-1992), known for his contributions to Art Deco sculpture. This example, numbered 5 of 8, portrays a young boy dressed in a yellow shirt with blue shorts and matching hat, holding a tennis racket. Marked "Keramos Wien Knight" on the underside. Impressed marked 2000, and incised marked 5/8.
