Lot 134 Royal Doulton Porcelain Figurine Mam'selle HN724

This Royal Doulton porcelain figurine is titled Mam'selle, model number HN724. Designed by Leslie Harradine, the piece is crafted from glazed bone china. It depicts a young woman in 18th-century style attire, featuring a bright orange-red tricorn hat over curly blonde hair. She wears a pale yellow dress accented with pinkish-lavender highlights and yellow ruffled trim, paired with yellow shoes. The figure stands on a base modeled as a brown tree stump with green moss. A small, pale-skinned winged cherub is positioned on the reverse side, tucked behind the woman's skirt. The underside of the base features several markings, including a green underglaze printed Royal Doulton lion and crown mark with Made in England. Hand-painted in black script are the model number HN724, the title Mam'selle, and the phrase Potted by Doulton & Co. A hand-painted red decorator mark NW is also present.
