^Lot 127 Royal Doulton Figurine, Negligee HN1218

This Royal Doulton Negligee figurine is a hand-painted glazed porcelain model designed by Leslie Harradine. The piece features a young woman wearing revealing lingerie and a colorful cloche-style headscarf while lounging on a multi-color cushion. The cushion is decorated with a variegated glaze in shades of purple, orange, yellow, and green. The underside of the base is marked with the Royal Doulton lion and crown stamp in green underglaze, along with the text Made in England. Hand-painted in orange script are the title Negligee, the phrase Potted by Doulton & Co, and the model number H.N 1218. The characters TP appear as a decorator mark near the central aperture. This model was produced in Burslem, England, during the Art Deco period.
