This polychrome hand-painted porcelain figure is finished with a high-gloss glaze. The subject is a woman in a standing pose, slightly lifting the hem of a voluminous pink tiered skirt. She wears a multicolored shawl with a fringed border over her shoulders; the front features an abstract floral pattern in shades of purple, red, yellow, and blue, while the reverse is decorated with a pale green ground and scattered blue flowers. Her dark hair is styled with a red flower and a small purple headpiece. The base is marked with the Royal Doulton backstamp.
