^Lot 91 Goldscheider by Josef Lorenzl Porcelain Sculpture, Lady with Borzoi 7722

A Vienna Art Deco-style porcelain figure depicting a nude woman wearing a wide-brimmed pink hat and holding a large matching pink fan. The figure is posed standing before a white Borzoi dog with black spots. Josef Lorenzl (1892-1950) was one of Goldscheider's most important sculptors, particularly renowned for his Art Deco style. The underside is incised with the Goldscheider Wien mark in ink, accompanied by Lorenzl's signature. Model number 7722 / 22 / 14.
