^Lot 77 Grays Staffordshire Ceramic Figurine, Rabbit in Green Hunt Attire

This anthropomorphic rabbit figurine is manufactured by Grays Pottery of Staffordshire, England. The glazed earthenware figure depicts a rabbit in green attire, specifically a traditional forest green hunt coat accented with yellow buttons, a white cravat, white breeches, and black riding boots with brown tops. The figure is modeled in a standing position, holding a black hunting cap in its left hand while the right hand rests on its hip. The figurine is constructed with an integral tree-stump style support and stands on a circular green base. The underside of the base features two distinct printed marks: a central mark in blue reading GRAYS and a secondary mark along the lower edge in black reading STAFFORDSHIRE ENGLAND.
