^Lot 69 Wedgwood Glazed Earthenware Fox Hunt Plaque from The Rubin Collection

A Wedgwood polychrome glazed earthenware plaque featuring a relief-molded traditional English fox hunting scene. The horizontal rectangular plaque depicts four riders in red hunting coats on horseback with a pack of hounds in a wooded landscape including a gate and fence. The figures and landscape elements are raised from the background through relief-molding and finished with hand-applied polychrome glazes. The reverse features impressed marks for WEDGWOOD and MADE IN ENGLAND, along with an impressed alphanumeric code 8V30 and a hand-painted red 8. The back includes integrated molded lugs with an attached wire hanger. Labels on the reverse include a Rubin Collection sticker, a Skinner auction label, and two yellow lot stickers.
