A single glazed ceramic figurine depicting a cockatoo perched upon a cylindrical base. The bird is rendered in high-gloss polychrome glazes featuring vibrant shades of turquoise, emerald green, yellow, orange, and black, suggesting a 20th-century production date. The cylindrical base is finished in a deep cobalt blue glaze and decorated with white and yellow polychrome enamel flowering branches. The underside of the base is unglazed, featuring a central aperture, and bears the stamped green circular mark reading ROYAL DOULTON ENGLAND.
