The figurine is rendered in a naturalistic style with highly detailed, flowing fur painted in shades of tan, brown, and cream over a darker body color. The Pekingese is attached to a rectangular, stained wooden plinth base. The porcelain base is impressed signed "G. Armani" in script. A blue transfer mark depicting a stylized crown above the letter 'N' is visible on the ceramic base. A brass-toned plaque affixed to the front of the wooden base is inscribed "G. Armani."
