This figure is typically seen on Royal Doulton's Mouse on Ashtray (HN1090) as a gray mouse, but this standalone example depicts the curled mouse in flambe. The piece is made of porcelain and finished with a rich flambe glaze, featuring a mottled pattern of deep red with dark, almost black, undercurrents. The underside of the base is marked with three lines of black printed text reading Royal Doulton Flambe.
