^Lot 21 Herend Porcelain Figurine, Large Pelican

The piece depicts a pelican with its head tilted back and its oversized beak wide open, perched on a textured, white-glazed base that includes two small fish at its feet. The neck and body are decorated with the signature Herend fishnet pattern in a rust-orange color. The wings feature stylized, multi-colored feathers in shades of cobalt blue, magenta, and turquoise. Significant gilding is applied to the interior of the open beak, the tips of the tail feathers, and the webbing of the feet. The underside of the base features the Herend backstamp.
