A single ceramic figurine attributed to Beswick, England, commonly identified as Model 996, depicting a young horse (foal). The piece is executed in a naturalistic style with a high-gloss glaze finish over porcelain or ceramic material. The coloring features a rich reddish-brown body (bay or chestnut), contrasted by black coloring on the mane, tail, and lower hooves. White markings are present on the socks and muzzle. The foal is posed mid-stride with the head turned slightly to the side. No factory stamps or impressed marks are visible on the exterior surfaces.
