This lot features two collector edition gift sets from the Mattel Barbie Collectibles line, featuring small vinyl dolls from the Kelly and Friends series. The first set is The Wizard of Oz Kelly Doll and Friends Giftset, model B2516, manufactured in 2003. It contains four dolls dressed as characters from the classic film: Dorothy Gale with a miniature Toto figure, the Tin Man with axe and oil can accessories, the Scarecrow, and the Cowardly Lion. These dolls feature painted eyes and a combination of rooted synthetic hair and molded headpieces with non-removable costumes. The second set is the Kelly Nostalgic Favorites Giftset, model B5729, also released in 2003 as part of the Ornament Collection. This set includes four dolls wearing miniature recreations of iconic vintage Barbie fashions including Silken Flame, Bathing Suit #1, Solo in the Spotlight, and Enchanted Evening. These dolls feature rooted synthetic hair, painted eyes, and integrated golden loops for use as holiday ornaments. Both sets are housed in their original window-box packaging with visible manufacturer markings, model numbers, and UPC codes. The Wizard of Oz set is marked as made in Indonesia, while the Nostalgic Favorites set is marked as made in China.
