^Lot 378 Beswick Porcelain Figurine, Penguin-Blue

The piece is constructed from glazed ceramic and depicts a standing penguin integrated into a low, square base. The figurine is finished in a high-gloss turquoise glaze with contrasting dark blue and black mottled drip patterns applied to the head, back, and wings. The unglazed, hollow underside of the base is marked with the handwritten number 8700 and an indistinct character in black ink.
